Russian basketball

Although Russian claims about inventing the light bulb, radio, and baseball are not always recognized elsewhere, they deserve full credit for inventing grass basketball courts:

This court is located on Gagarinskii pereulok.  Apparently Russians are so innately talented at grass basketball that they don't even need to practice: I have never seen this court being used and I walk past it several times a week.  They are that good.
